This guide advises paying for the auction item preferably using online banking buttons, but bank transfer is also possible according to the instructions in this article. Payment details can be found in the payment link, where you select bank transfer. It may take up to 4 business days for a bank transfer payment to be recorded, and the item will not be released before the payment is recorded.
This guide explains how a bidder can pay for an item by bank transfer. We recommend paying for items using online banking buttons, as the payment is transmitted to Huutokaupat.com immediately, and you do not have to wait for the payment to be recorded. However, if online banking payment is not possible, you can also pay for the item by bank transfer using this guide.
ℹ️ Where can I find the bank transfer payment details?
Do the following:
- Open the payment link you received in your email
- Fill in the requested information
- Select "Bank Transfer" (Tilisiirto) under the "Payment Method" (Maksutapa) section to see the payment details
- After you have paid for the item, click "Confirm paid by bank transfer" "Vahvista tilisiirrolla maksetuksi"
→ As a business buyer, you can also print the invoice through the payment link. See: How do I print an invoice for a company?
Note! Always pay for one item at a time, using the correct account and reference information. Never pay without a reference number or directly to Paytrail’s account.
ℹ️ How long does it take for a bank transfer payment to be recorded?
- Recording a payment made by bank transfer can take up to 4 business days due to manual verification. Weekends and public holidays affect this timing.
- You will receive automatic payment reminders until the payment is recorded. These can be ignored.
- You will receive an email once the payment has been confirmed.
- The auction item will not be released or shipped before the payment is confirmed (not even with a payment receipt).
