Cancelling a Bid in an Ongoing Auction

This article explains what to do if you want to cancel a bid in an ongoing auction. If the auction has already ended, see the help article "How can I cancel a purchase?". 

 

If you have placed a bid in an ongoing auction and notice within an hour of placing the bid that your bid was incorrect, the fastest way to resolve the issue is while logged in through our chat and by requesting to cancel the bid (with the exception of enforcement or bankruptcy estate items). 

If more time has passed since placing the bid, we cannot cancel a bid from an ongoing auction. For items between users (where the seller is someone other than Huutokaupat.com/Mezzoforte Oy), we cannot cancel the bid or purchase without consulting the official seller of the item.

However, it is recommended to contact customer service as soon as you notice your mistake. We will review together what can be done about the matter.
