How do I create or delete a search alert?

A search alert sends you an email notification about new items matching your search terms on Huutokaupat.com. Create an alert by performing a search, clicking "Add search alert," and saving it. You can delete a search alert via the link in the email or through My Page when logged in. You can save up to 15 search alerts.

🔍 How do I create a search alert?

A search alert notifies you of new items based on your search terms.

  1. Perform a search with your desired word or phrase in the search field. See the article: How does search work?
  2. When the search results appear, optionally refine the results further (e.g., location).
  3. Click the "Add search alert" button to save the search alert.
    • If you are logged in, the search alert will be saved automatically to your user account.
    • If you are not logged in, you will be asked to provide an email address where notifications will be sent.
       

📩 How does the search alert work?

You will receive an email notification whenever new items matching your search become available for sale on Huutokaupat.com.

 

⚙️ How do I delete a search alert?

  • From the link at the bottom of the search alert email
  • If you created the search alert while logged in, also via My Page:
    1. Log in to your account.
    2. Go to My Page → Search Alerts.
    3. Delete the desired search alert.
       

ℹ️ How many search alerts can I have?

  1. You can save up to 15 search alerts at a time.
  2. If you cannot add a new search alert, check the number of your current alerts on My Page under "Search Alerts" and delete old ones if necessary.
