When will the money be paid to a private seller?

The sale amount and the bill of sale are usually paid to the private publisher within two business days after the item has been picked up and the transfer has been marked. The money will appear in your account within 1–5 banking days, and the sales commission will be deducted from the sale amount. Payment is confirmed before the item is handed over to the buyer to ensure the security of the transaction.

If you have listed your item as a private seller, this instruction applies to you.

The sale amount and the bill of sale will generally be sent to the private seller two (2) business days after the buyer has picked up the item and the private seller has marked the item as handed over on their My Page under My Listings. Once the bill of sale has been issued, the money will usually appear in the seller's account within 1–5 banking days. Public holidays and weekends may affect the timing and arrival of the payment.

The sales commission is usually deducted directly from the sale amount, but in exceptional cases, it may be invoiced separately.

The delay in payment ensures the security of the transaction for both parties. The buyer pays us for the item before pickup, so the money is securely received and held by us before the item is handed over to the buyer. Please always wait for confirmation of payment from Huutokaupat.com before handing over the item to the buyer.
