An item listed on Huutokaupat.com can be sold as a User-to-User transaction, in which case the transaction takes place directly between the lister and the bidder. In this case, Huutokaupat.com only serves as a listing platform for the item, and the User-to-User Auction Terms apply to the transaction.

- the transaction is carried out directly between the lister and the bidder; in completed transactions, the seller is the lister or their principal
- the buyer pays for the item according to the payment details provided by the lister after the auction ends (the lister must mark the item as paid on Huutokaupat.com once payment has been successfully made)
- the lister is responsible for the transaction documents
- the lister handles the vehicle registration documents if necessary
- the lister (and their possible principal) are responsible for the condition of the item and the transaction as a whole, in accordance with applicable law and agreements between the parties
Determining which items are User-to-User transactions
Some items are automatically classified as user-to-user transactions based on their category.
These include:
- Enforcement items
- Bankruptcy auction
- Apartments, real estate, plots
- Antiques and art
- Items with a starting price over €50,000
The following items must also be User-to-User:
- Regulated items (e.g. heat pumps, rescue vehicles)
- Shares and securities
- Uninspected meat of wild game animals
- Domain addresses
- The right to use an electronic service (e.g. online training)
- A new product sold on behalf of a private individual
If you are filling out a listing form on behalf of a company or organization and the form asks you about whether the item is regulated, and you answer yes, you can publish the item directly as User-to-User.
The listing form recognizes certain words based on which the item is assumed to be User-to-User.
